For the mid-1980s the CBX750F carried on largely unchanged, still built around the hydraulic-tappet 747 cc DOHC four, six-speed gearbox and chain drive. It remained a capable all-rounder with a half fairing, twin headlights and Pro-Link rear end, and was sold in Europe, South Africa and Australia while Honda added faired derivatives alongside it.
